Literally Dozens of New and Improved Features!
An amazing number of new and exciting features have been added to this major upgrade, as well as improvements that you, the gamers, have been asking for over the past year. Once you take a look at all that has been done to the best boxing simulation on the market, we are confident that you’ll be thrilled to play it.
Game Engine
- Completely revised Cut Routine - now over a dozen possible locations and effects
- Completely revised Swelling Routine - fewer stoppages but greater effect on fighters
- Completely revised Foul Routine - negative effects possible on fouled fighters
- Completely revised, strategic corner work options for between rounds action
- Additional Strategies - "Protect cut" & "Take a round off" (to regain endurance)
- Switch between Boxer/Slugger Styles on a round-by-round basis
- Revised commentary with dozens of new lines, corrected ambiguities and less repetition
- Greater statistical tracking, including fouls and cuts
- Heightened drama after a knockdown - commentary keeps you guessing about whether or not the fighter can "beat the count"
- Pre-fight analysis shows common opponents and more
- Random venues and referees will now be determined under consideration of the fighters' nationality
User Interface
- Revised graphics for a cleaner and sharper look
- More intuitive and simpler revised User Interface
- See-at-a-Glance the results of any fighter's last 5 fights, similar to Boxrec.com
- Fighter list sortable by any characteristic (i.e. hitting power, defense, accuracy)
- Start bouts directly from the fighter list
- Important events are highlighted now in the commentary
- Complete stats have been added to the bout log files
- HTML output will now automatically be "compressed" to save disk space
- Sort order and sort column will be saved now automatically for all grids
- Extra screen for the successful defense of a title
- All pictures will now be used in the game: judges on the scorecards screen, announcer on the verdict screen, ring card girl between rounds, plus two new pre-fight screens for the teams and the event
Database
- Multiple ranking records for different career stages or divisions per fighter
- Add your own fighters, referees, judges, announcers, venues and even ring card girls
- Complete History for all fight participants, including referees and officials
- Complete Title Fight History, linear by organization as well as via individual fighters
- Assign titles or strip a fighter of the championship belt
- Cut/Copy/Move blocks of fighters at one time, instead of single fighters
- Nations Database allows you to see all fighters of a particular nationality at a glance
- Revised and improved Rankings System
- Ability to manually adjust the Rankings if you so desire
- Edit all histories, records, fighters, etc.
- TB1 databases will be imported automatically
- When exporting a fighter to file, the export of the history is now optional
