The original version of OOTP 10 was version 10.0.7. There is currently a patch available to bring your game up to version 10.4.31. Read below for information on downloading and installing the patch. For information on what is contained in any patches, see our version/patch list.

Note: All OOTP patches include all fixes from previous patches. There is never any need to install multiple patches to "get everything."


IMPORTANT: All users in online leagues must be on the same version of OOTP! If you are not on the same version as the commissioner, your team exports/imports will not work! Please take this into consideration when timing a patch installation!


Patching OOTP for Windows

Use the following steps to patch the Windows version of OOTP:

  1. Close OOTP 10.
  2. Back up any important leagues and custom files. (This is not required, but it's always a good practice to back up your data before making any changes to your system!)
  3. Download the OOTP 10 patch from our server, or download from one of the mirrors listed below, and select Run when prompted to run or save the file.
  4. Agree to the terms of the License Agreement.
  5. If you installed to the default directory, leave the default settings and click Install. If you did not install to the default directory, deselect the Use default folders box, and select the directory to which you originally installed OOTP. (Note: If you fail to do this, the patch will not be applied correctly!)
  6. When the installer completes, click Finish.
  7. Launch OOTP 10. In the top left corner, confirm that the version number has been updated to the most recent version listed in the version/patch list.
  8. You're good to go!

Patching OOTP for Mac

Unfortunately, as of right now, the patch will cause your license to become inactivated, so there are a few extra steps to apply the patch. We apologize for the inconvenience! Use the following steps to patch the Mac version of OOTP:

  1. Open OOTP 10.
  2. Click on Game Preferences.
  3. Click on Unlicense Game.
  4. Close OOTP 10.
  5. Back up any important leagues and custom files. (This is not required, but it's always a good practice to back up your data before making any changes to your system!)
  6. Download the OOTP 10 patch from our server, or download from one of the mirrors listed below.
  7. Expand the tar.gz file by double-clicking on it.
  8. Open the ootp10macpatch folder.
  9. Double-click on the OOTP 10 Installer icon.
  10. Agree to the terms of the License Agreement.
  11. If you installed to the default directory, leave the default settings and click Install. If you did not install to the default directory, deselect the Use default folders box, and select the directory to which you originally installed OOTP. (Note: If you fail to do this, the patch will not be applied correctly!)
  12. When the installer completes, click Finish.
  13. Launch OOTP 10. In the top left corner, confirm that the version number has been updated to the most recent version listed in the version/patch list.
  14. A purchase warning will appear. Cancel this screen, then click Enter a License Key.
  15. Enter your license key and click OK. You're good to go!

Patching OOTP for Linux
