Most OOTP Developments games cannot be played without a valid license installed, or play in a "demo mode" until a valid license is installed. The process for installing a license varies depending on the operating system. Before you can install a license, you must have purchased a copy of one of our games and installed the game on your computer.

Note: When you purchase one of our games, you are entitled to install the game on two (2) machines. However, you cannot mix licenses between platforms. That is, if you want to have one copy for a Windows machine and another for a Macintosh, you must purchase two copies of the game.

Install Your PC License

Use the following steps to install your PC license. You will need your Order ID, which is a series of letters and numbers that were e-mailed to you when you purchased the game. It should look something like this: XX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.

1. Launch the game using the icon on the desktop. You will be presented with a licensing page.
2. If you have not yet purchased the game, you can purchase the game directly from this screen by clicking on the Purchase button.
3. Click on the License button. You will be taken to the Install License page. Enter your Order ID and click Install License. You must have an active internet connection to complete this step. (If you do not have an active internet connection, click the Get Off-line License button and follow the instructions to install your license.)
4. Once the license has been installed, you will receive a confirmation message. Click the Launch! button to start the game. You're ready to play!

Install Your Mac License

Use the following steps to install your Mac license for OOTP 10. You will need your License Key, which is a series of letters and numbers that you received when you purchased the game. It should look something like this: 99X-9-XX-99-99.

1. Double-click on the game icon to launch the program.
2. If you have not yet purchased the game, you can purchase the game from the PiSD web store.
3. Click on the Enter a License Key button at the top of the page.
4. A dialog box will appear. Enter your complete license key into box, or cut-and-paste it from your receipt, and then click OK.
5. You will be returned to the Main page. The game is now licensed. You're ready to play!

Use the following steps to install your Mac license for OOTP 9 and previous versions. You will need your Serial Number/License Key, which is a series of letters and numbers that were e-mailed to you when you purchased the game. It should look something like this: OOTP9-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

1. Double-click on the game icon in the folder where the game installed to launch the program.
2. If you have not yet purchased the game, you can purchase the game directly from this screen by clicking on the Buy OOTP Baseball link.
3. Click on the Enter a License Key button at the bottom of the page.
4. A dialog box will appear. Enter your complete license key into box, or cut-and-paste it from your receipt, and then click OK.
5. You will be returned to the Main page. The game is now licensed. You're ready to play!

Install Your Linux License

Use the following steps to install your Linux license. You will need your License Key, which is a series of letters and numbers that you received when you purchased the game. It should look something like this: 99X-9-XX-99-99.

1. Double-click on the game icon to launch the program.
2. If you have not yet purchased the game, you can purchase the game from the PEDS web site.
3. Click on the Enter a License Key button at the top of the page.
4. A dialog box will appear. Enter your complete license key into box, or cut-and-paste it from your receipt, and then click OK.
5. You will be returned to the Main page. The game is now licensed. You're ready to play!
