OOTP 13 Update #4 To Be Released July 13th

We've released three updates to the game since it was released on April 9th, and the fourth one is due out on Friday, July 13th. It will allow online leagues to broadcast a simulation via the real-time sim mode to the league web site and it will include the ability to add and remove leagues to and from existing associations. It will also offer bug fixes and a couple surprise features, so stay tuned.

iOOTP 1.0.2 Adds Minor League Development Estimate, More

We've been busy with iOOTP Baseball 2012 Edition too. The latest update, version 1.0.2, features a development estimate on the minor league screen, a team info screen, a "Randomize Cities" button and playoff round name editing functionality in the iPad version, and various bug fixes.

iOOTP 2012 has also been scooping up raves since it came out. Just recently, Gamezebo took a look at the game, gave it a 4.5/5 rating, and said: "Armchair general managers of the world, this one's for you."

Tales From the OOTP Multi-Verse: The Islandian Pro Alliance

One of the things all of us love about OOTP is its ability to create a living, breathing baseball world, whether you want to sim one season or 100 seasons in real or fictional baseball leagues. Our latest Tale From the OOTP Multi-Verse article on our forum takes a look at one such baseball world, the Islandian Pro Alliance (IPA).

The IPA is a rich world consisting of two countries, with a back story that draws on American history. It even has a cool map of its cities. Its creator, Eugene Church, gave us so much great material for the article that we decided to use it verbatim as he talked about his upbringing during the 1950s, his discovery of OOTP, his creation of the IPA, and his favorite moments from the Alliance's history.
