FHM 4 sims the 2017-18 season and playoffs

What does the current NHL® season have in store for us? How will your favorite team perform? We took the 2017-18 campaign for a spin and shared the results with our friends at the NHL Network, who featured our handiwork on their flagship NHL Tonight show.

You can read all about it, and click the link to our NHL Network appearance on YouTube, in our latest blog post.

We’ve also started streaming gameplay on Twitch, where you’ll find us simming some current and historical FHM 4 action on Tuesday nights. Here’s what we have in store for you:

  • The Florida Panthers’ 2017-18 season: The team is coming off a sixth place finish last year. They failed to make the playoffs for the 10th time in the past 12 seasons, but they won their division two years ago, so there’s a glimmer of hope that they can recapture some recent magic. We’re going to do our best to make that happen.
  • The New York Islanders’ 1983-84 season: New York City’s other hockey team has had on-and-off success the past few years, but in the late 70s and early 80s, they were a powerhouse. The Islanders won four straight Stanley Cup® titles from 1979-1983, but they were thwarted in their quest for a fifth consecutive championship when they lost the 1984 Stanley Cup® Final to the Edmonton Oilers, who were building a dynasty of their own. Can we rewrite some history?

Enjoy the early days of the new season! We’ll see you next month.
