I have a few questions regarding the different versions of OOTP, and how they can be used with online leagues.
I have OOTP3, and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to take part in a league using OOTP2 to sim games. I can load up the league file, and make an export, but will this work or will it bring a league crashing down? On a similar note, will OOTP4 be compatible with OOTP3 leagues? I think it would be a tremendous feature for the game, as I would allow game owners to take part in a huge number of different established leagues, rather than having to wait for leagues to convert, or be started up under OOTP4. |

Reverse-compatibility is a difficult issue. I have not tried this myself other's may be able to speak to this from personal experience.
This could be a problem since with each new version we have been adding ratings and additional features. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
