SGCBL Moving to OOTP 15, looking for new GMs

Solonor's Groovy Computer Baseball League, now in its 28th season and 11th year of operation, is moving to OOTP 15 tomorrow. As such, we're putting out the call for any GM's who want to sign up with us for the low, low price of FREE!

SGCBL forms a part of the Ultimate Fantasy Baseball Association along with its sister, the SciFi & Fantasy League.

Solonor's Groovy Computer Baseball League is our main site. There are links there to the OOTP pages as well as to our forum and Statslab pages.

Currently, we have a ton of openings in the SFL and the following teams in the SGCBL: Minas Tirith, Rivendell, Lake Town, Carrock, and Bree.

I know. I know. "It's that hobbit league..." But let me assure you that once you join a fantasy OOTP league there's no difference between a guy named Joe Smith playing for the Red Sox and Isengrim Twinkletoes playing for the Uruk-hai. It's just names, people.

That said, there is plenty of opportunity for added flavor afforded by the setting, and GM's are encouraged to envision their team as a group of hobbits, orcs, elves, dwarves and men struggling together to win the Return of the King trophy...or not. It's up to you.

Take a look at the teams on the web site, and let me know which one you like. There might be more available than the ones listed. We've got a couple of GM's who are running two teams...kinda babysitting one until another GM takes over. Dead Marshes for example.

We sim a week at a time on Mondays and Thursdays. Uploads are due by 6pm Eastern time those nights.

Bree, Carrock, Minas Tirith, Mirkwood and Weathertop are available.
