1901 Brooklyn Superbas
I am having a great time with my two Blue Jay Dynasties so I decided to create another one. But this time I wanted an old one... a really old one. I wanted a team that ran all the way through the 20th century so I picked the Dodgers. So much history! So many interesting changes along the way!
So, here I go. I am just setting up logos and uniforms now (though that cross-league bug means that I still end up with modern unis and logos when the team has the same name as a modern team... the Milwaukee Brewers are going to look very out of place in 1901...), then I will wade into my team. I did a quick scan... wow, there are a lot of 'stars' on those ratings... ![]() |

We made a risky move, weakening our pitching slightly but making the offense solid as a rock.

First round of Spring cuts.
In a surprise move, newly acquired reliever Ed Scott was the first sent down to Vandercook Lake. He was joined by Grant Bailey, Scott McGee and Alfredo Cobar. In addition, word is a very big deal is brewing with Cincinnati. |

The rumoured huge trade went down. Huge.
To CINCINNATI REDS Willie Keeler Tom McCreery To Brooklyn Superbas Jake Beckley Amos Rusie Joe Sanders Dick Scott The fans are unhappy about the loss of Wee Willie but happy about getting Beckley. That's the way it goes. Last edited by rpriske; 09-19-2013 at 06:17 PM. |
