1980 Topps - still needs a bit of tweaking, might move the team name on the front down more, the award and hof will use the same banner area as the all-star. Sub leagues named National League and American League will use the original all-star banner, others will be based on league colors.

How do you slant the text? I didn't know that was possible.

Is it also possible to force Upper Case?

The text for the positions are actually an image. I made 8 color combos for each position as close to the real card as possible and the player picture border is also different in each (banner/text): yellow/green, blue/white, red/white, yellow/black, green/white, purple/white, dark purple/white, purple/black. Can't force upper case that I know of.

hmm, but how do you assign each one to a position?

yikes! 90 images? there has to be a better way

I could've done the same thing I did with the team name area (it's originally angled also) and make it horizontal and use the team colors but I liked the original colors of the card.

For your info Klav...this was added this yr.
Mini-feature: player picture element in the baseball card XML now supports the attribute away_uniform="1" which will show that picture with the away uniform if it's enabled in that game. It'll just ignore it as usual if the user doesn't have away uniforms enabled in their game..

Also, fonts have been renamed/redesigned for example: vera bold is now just bold as near as I can tell. vera bold still works but my eyes say bold looks a little better. My eyes aren't that great though. There's other new fonts as well in the fonts folder that can be used..

Thanks Bigrod. Didn't see the away_uniform in your template and thought it was only based on the users game settings. I like the new italic font and using the medium makes me wish I tried vera_20 on the previous cards.

I haven't bought 14 yet but I have it installed and I noticed the new fonts and name changes. I wasn't sure if I could still use the old names so I renamed the fonts to their 13 equivalents, put them into 13's font folder and have been using them make these cards and then updating the font names to 14's names in the xmls when finished.
