New Card Design/Work in Progress
I've been playing around with designs of baseball cards and learning some things along the way. I'm having fun, but curious what people think of what I have so far? If all goes well I'll expand to All-Star and award versions for this basic design.

The shadows on the text and numbers is interesting. Never did that. Obviously some color combos would work better than others there.
Nice work! I always liked bb card design - well at least the front part; I was less a fan of fiddling with lining up the text parts of the stats on the back. |

Thanks! Yeah, the back gets to be tricky at times...lot of trial and error.

Those look great so far. I am left wondering what exactly a Zerd is, though.

Ha! Zerd is sort of a nickname for my dog. Her name is Lizzie but we started calling her Lizzard for some reason and then eventually shortened to Zerd. For what it's worth she ain't happy with the team's performance right now.

Let us know when these are complete... I definitely like this set. Has a great design while keeping it minimal, allowing you to show off nearly if not all of the uniform (depending on how your facegen is set).

Thanks very much for the interest. I had put this aside for a bit due to tax season taking most of my time right now. (plus my other project making locker room/jersey number cards) I will try to finish up and make them available this weekend, though. By the way, they are designed to show more uniform regardless of what settings you may have for facegen.

So, '17 does not place nice with my design. The font "amaze" which displays the script on the back of my cards is no longer a part of the game. I will try to figure something out, but that hurts!
