Changes from v11

2001 Fleer Premium
- updated fonts
- added more years of stats
- added a new image layer to darken the white edges of the card, it was hard to tell where the white of the card ended and the white backgorund began before.
- added manager award card

2001 Fleer Showcase
- updated fonts
- resized player's picture on front of card
- lowered transparency so the stadiums show better, if you want the stadiums more faint go into the images folder, delete/rename the 01_showcase.png file then remove the "85" from the 01_showcase85.png file name.
- added MLB stadiums that will show for correct teams
- removed background from player pic on the award cards
- the actual card has a black box under the logo so I included it in the template, if you don't want it then delete/rename the 01_showcase_award.png file then remove the "_noblack" from the 01_showcase_award_noblack.png file name.
- added manager award card

2002 Fleer Premium
- updated fonts
- added manager award card

2002 Stadium Club
- updated fonts (wish I could have the stats a bit bigger but they run into each other even just 1 size bigger)
- made player pic on back smaller so the name label wasn't covering the hat, removed facegen generated background and added a resized set of 100 from blueturf and fhomess collections to appear instead
- removed player pic from back of award and hof cards and used a picture of the trophy instead

- updated fonts, changed to the short year format, spacing is a little tight but looks okay.

OOTp 13 folder - BB Cards - templates - OOTP 13 - Some files go in the 1st folder, some go in images.

1961 Fleer
- updated fonts, I copy/pasted the code for the stats from the default to the allstar and award cards, however the font for the stats comes out smaller in the allstar/award than in the default when I make the cards. I have no idea why.
- added manager award card
- fixed the award cards, had the team colors for the card but league colors for the text, it's now all league colors

1983 Fleer
- updated fonts
- added manager award card
- career totals for players with 20 years of stats were running into the award/as/hof label on the back, I have moved this line of text onto the front of the card replacing the players position

1987-88 Classic
- updated fonts
- added manager award card
- tweaked the color of the default card so it was more green like the real card
- added a texture layer for team/league color default and all-star cards so that white colors don't blend into the background. This layer won't appear on the other cards in this set but if you want it to just open up the xml file in notepad, about 12 lines down (word wrap off) there is an image element with has_team="0" at the end, just change the 0 to 1 and save.

1989 Procards
- updated fonts
- added manager award card
- changed some of the image file names

- updated fonts, changed to abbreviated year, stats look good
- since there is no commando font in v12 or v13 it has been changed to the college font

1991 Fleer
- updated fonts, changed to abbreviated year, stats are spaced okay, wanted to increase it 1 more but they ran into each other
- there is no commando font anymore so the abbreviated year on the front was changed to the college font
- added manager award card
- renamed some of the image files

- switched to abbreviated year and left it and team name in the smaller size, spacing for the stats looks okay, may be a little tight depending on the numbers

1987 Donruss
- updated fonts
- switched to abbreviated year for the default card to give some more space between stats

1998 Collector's Choice
- updated fonts, not enough room to make the stats larger
- added manager award card

1986 Fleer
- updated fonts, stats may be a little tight depending on the numbers
- added manager award card
- new all-star and hof cards. when I first made this template I used the sticker for the all-star and the limited edition for the hof. now that the background can be removed from the player pic, i was able to make the actual all-star and hof card. if you liked the previous versions of either I left them in the set and named the xmls as sticker and limited_edition, just rename it to either all_star.xml or hof.xml.
- made some achievement cards (500 hr, 300 wins and 3000 hits) based on the limited edition card. these have to be made manually, to do that go to the player profile page, at the bottom there should be the picture menu and the bottom choice should be baseball cards. on the next screen click "new" (located along the bottom), click on the pull down menu and it should list the xmls, select the appropriate one, you shouldn't have to enter a title unless you've already manually made a card for the player in the current season, click okay and the achievement card should be created.

- updated all-star card - removed background player pic, made the dark blue with stars background, made the top blue area a bit transparent and made the bottom red area fade from the bottom up instead of a solid color - all similar to the real card

2004 Fleer Inscribed
- updated fonts

- updated award cards - removed background from player pic, made the award pictures all the same dimensions
- there are 2 all-star cards to choose from. The all_star is just the default card with an all-star label on the front while the invert_all_star the white and black colors of the default card are switched.

I notice when I make the BB cards within the game, it shows a blow-up of the player's face. The image is not the same as the in-game image??

Here is an example:

In order to get the a facegen (or real) pic to fit I set the width in the xml to the width of the player pic area in the image file so there is no empty space along the sides and then the height is set to maintain the 2:3 ratio (so there is no stretching or smushing). Unfortunately this usually results in the height being larger than what is visible in the player pic area and facegen or real pics the are zoomed in or close-ups get part of the faces cut off.

That card has the facegen_zoom set to normal instead of in or random because of the cutting off. You can try and edit the size in the xml but that may result in empty space along the sides of the players picture or smushing the player pic if you only change the height. It's probably easier to find a different image for the player, make the card with it, then switch back to your original image.
